In 2017, James and Monique identified a clear gap in the Cairns real estate market. Properties weren’t being marketed in a way that truly connected with buyers—especially those from interstate and overseas—resulting in missed opportunities and undervalued homes.
To meet this need, they launched a breakthrough real estate agency built on innovative strategy, premium presentation, and a deep commitment to results. It became the first and only agency of its kind in Cairns. Today, Unique is the largest independent real estate agency in Northern Queensland, proudly serving clients from the Tablelands to Port Douglas, Cairns, and the Northern Beaches.
As the agency grew, so did the vision. To further elevate the client experience, Unique@Home was created—our sister company offering exclusive property staging for our sales clients and a curated retail collection of designer furniture for the public. This expansion allows us to deliver a seamless, end-to-end service that not only maximizes property appeal but also brings high-end style into everyday homes.
